Name:Adrian Pucey
Website:Euphoria Lane
Bio:Name: Adrian Pucey
Birthday: May 31st, 1978 (Gemini)
Blood: Pureblood-ish. Or at least enough to make it worth it.
Former House: Slytherin, 1988-1996 (Had to repeat his 7th year).

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Marital Status: Single

Nationality: British
Hometown: Wiltshire, England
Residence: 240B, Above the Magic Bean. This is where he sells his booze!

Occupation: A job? What's that? Adrian lives off the family money and spends all his time in sports pubs (He'll love Kelly's), shouting at the Wireless during Quidditch matches or travelling to see games in person with anyone that'll go with! Though the minute a coaching job opens up, he'll be all over it like the Dark Lord on a Lightning Bolt Scar.

Financial Status: He's not hurting for coin and likely never will be. His parents have pegged their family future hopes on Adrian's older brother, so Adrian is free to spend money however he likes without the worry of having to carry on the Pucey name.

Political Affiliation: Adrian was all gung-ho for the Dark Lord before the war, because it would have been stupid not to, with all the people he spent his time around. And Adrian wasn't the smartest cookie in Slytherin House. He was strong and agile, great at playing Chaser and chasing birds… but that was about it. He even managed to forget to take his NEWTs and decided he wanted to drop out of Hogwarts, but was forced to retake his 7th year if he ever wanted to see any of the family fortune. They hadn't given up on his future yet.

Social stereotype: Adrian would best be described as The Loud-Mouthed Jock. He'll regale anyone who'll listen about how he would have been the greatest Quidditch Player that Ever Lived, if only he had the chance. He's built for it and knows everything there is to know… he's just more of a Hooligan now than anything else.

Personality: Adrian is a braggart, a bully, a hooligan, a loud-mouth, and a relatively boisterous individual. His's personality hinges on the fact that he's the best there ever was. And he'll tell you as much. If people would only listen to him, he could bring the World Quidditch Cup back to England where it belongs! He's jovial and friendly, if you're buying the rounds or if you support his favourite team – which is pretty much any English team that's currently playing. If you support a different team, though, he'll tell you how much your team is full of wankers, unless your team is playing his. In that case, you might be looking at a fight.

Overall, he loves Quidditch and seeks every opportunity to either watch the sport, go to the stadiums, talk about the sport, or get in on a pickup game if he's able. He'll generally end up trying to tell everyone else how to best play their positions, though, and always feels he should be the team captain due to his extensive experience.
Away from Quidditch, he's somewhat more reserved and loves a night at the pub, laughing and having a good time. Jobs and the future and all that haven't really had any impact on his life and if things go well, it'll probably stay that way. Some way, somehow, Adrian has managed to become one of those people whose life is pretty easy and without external stress. Others would probably call him lucky and carefee, if it weren't for the mental stress he puts on himself. There's a strong chance that eventually his little world could come crashing down on him when he realizes that all of the failures on the Pitch in his life haven't always been JUST other people. But that would require him admitting to himself that he's not the best there ever was at the game. Time will tell!

Other than that, he's extremely social and doesn't like spending time by himself. If he's alone, there's no one to listen to his epic sagas of valor and battle on the Pitch. If he's alone, there's no one buying rounds and talking about the greatest plays in history. If he's alone, there's no one but himself to listen to and this is a bad thing. Adrian thrives on people, whether they're laughing and cheering on his team, or suffering his fist in their face because they support the other team. If there's no one to try and impress, Adrian starts to get a bit out of sorts. Restless, as it were.

Childhood (aka FULL HISTORY):
Adrian's childhood was pretty much like any Pureblooded Ex-Slytherin family could be expected. There was plenty of money thrown about, arranged marriages with other Purebloods, and generally a posh and boring lifestyle. Adrian hated it and he hated being told who he had to marry. Especially some Pureblooded witch in Bulgaria that he'd never met. To this day, he still dislikes anything to do with Bulgaria. He wanted to play Quidditch from the first time he'd ever laid eyes on a broom. His brother, Acanthus, was the exact opposite. Acanthus is a year older than Adrian (3 years head of the Trio) and works as a Cursebreaker at Gringott's. In Adrian's words, Acanthus is an incredibly self-absorbed prat who wouldn't know a quaffle if it hit him in the head – and he's proven it a few times.

Growing up in his brother's shadow was never really a problem for Adrian. He didn't mind his brother being smarter, getting better grades, excelling at everything he did. This was mainly because Acanthus really, really had no business being on Quidditch Pitch. Acanthus could barely fly a broom. For this, Adrian was willing to trade everything else his brother was better at. Because it was the one thing Adrian could do well and do better than his brother. He threw his whole life into Quidditch. He resolved to be the best there ever was or ever would be.

With this as his background, Adrian was ambitious and cunning, which landed him squarely in Slytherin. Which, oddly enough, pleased his parents since it was their House, and his brother's as well. Adrian disliked following his brother at first, but he met a lot of people in the House that really made it feel like home. He got along best with people like Marcus Flint, Miles Bletchley, Terence Higgs, and several others. Pretty much anyone with an interest in Quidditch would find an easy friend in Adrian. He even admired players from other teams, even if he knew that he was better than they were. In fact, he helped his team win the Quidditch Cup three years in a row, before Potter and the Gryffindors took it away from them. And that was purely luck on Gryffindor's part. If it hadn't been for the Quidditch and House cups being cancelled in Adrian's 4th year, they'd have taken it then, as well. They lost the cup to Gryffindor in his 5th year, thanks to the rest of his team being rusty from having it cancelled the year before and due to Potter's cheating. At least Potter didn't go Pro, as Adrian might have had to reveal him as a cheater to the World Quidditch League.

He takes pride in knowing that although Charlie Weasley is considered one of the greatest Captains that Gryffindor has ever had, that he (and his team, of course) defeated the bloke the first year they played together. Slytherin won the cup again the next year, but Charlie had "begged off the team to get away from" Adrian, as he puts it. He'll still remind Charlie of this if it ever comes to it. He respected Charlie, though, but he won't really say it unless he's had a bit much to drink. Which, honestly, isn't exactly a rarity.

Adrian never saw another Quidditch Cup during his time on the team, much to his disappointment. Hooch was far too unfair and called a number of their purely tactical moves as fouls, Potter and his pals got away with too much cheating, and in general, Adrian felt his support was lacking in the following years. He didn't like Malfoy as their Seeker, but sadly there wasn't really anyone better coming forward. Plus the new brooms were nice. It wasn't much of an upgrade for him, but free was free. He still blames Malfoy for falling for all of Potter's tricks. Luck was one thing, but Malfoy was too wrapped up in his rivalry with Potter to see how he was being played. Rotter deserves what he got for ruining the team. Enjoy Azkaban, mate!

Adrian's 6th year was cancelled due to the Tri-Wizard Tournament, which tormented him to no end. He really felt that his team could have taken the cup since Malfoy wouldn't have to worry about Potter. He didn't know how Potter got his name in the cup, but it was good riddance. Only when he found out that Quidditch was cancelled for the tournament, he nearly went ballistic. No Quidditch? What else was there to do, then, if you weren't in the tournament? It was bloody unfair for everyone else. No wonder Potter snuck his name in. Adrian was grumpy the entire year since he didn't get his own name in there somehow. Potter and his ruddy cheating cost him a whole year of the one thing he loved. How was he supposed to attract scouting from the Pros if Dumbledore kept cancelling Quidditch?

Hooch would still let the teams practise from time to time, since she didn't want to see them falling to disrepair from lack of practise any more than the teams themselves did. He was proud that his team was actually shaping up that year and consoled himself in the knowledge that they'd win the cup the following year, bringing it back to Slytherin where it belonged. Though he blamed it solely on the fact that Malfoy never attended the practises and their backup Seeker performed twice as well. Bloody Malfoy and his father the Hogwarts Governer. Shaming the House to further their name and personal rubbish. Bloody waste.

His 7th year was so dedicated to Quidditch that his studies faltered. He thrived on the fact that Potter and the Weasley twins were banned from Quidditch. He knew that there was no possible way that Slytherin could lose to them with their best players sidelined. But once again, Malfoy would be his undoing. It was purely thanks to Miles Bletchley that Adrian didn't pound Malfoy into a fine paste for causing them to still lose to Gryffindor despite the missing Potter and Weaseltwins. Suffice to say, Adrian was so distraught over losing yet again, that he skipped his NEWTs entirely and even decided to leave Hogwarts and go straight to the Pros.

However, it was his father that told him that should he ever wish to see even a knut of the family fortune, he would need to go back to Hogwarts and complete his education. While at first, he figured he could just make his own fortune as a World Quidditch Star, he learned that he couldn't even get an agent without the grades from school and the accolades that came with it.

This combination is what led Adrian to repeat his 7th year, much to his disgust at having to play alongside Malfoy again. Still, it was another shot at Potter, since most of the Gryffindor team he had played against so long was leaving. Unfortunately, most of the people Adrian knew were leaving as well, including Miles. And then Potter was made the Captain of the Quidditch team. Captain! How insulting, especially since Adrian wasn't named Captain when Flint graduated. Urquhart wasn't a bad Captain, though, so Adrian had some hopes. Which once again failed him. Adrian just couldn't believe his team kept letting him down and that Hooch always seemed to miss Potter's cheating. It was just something that flabbergasted him.

Still, he sat his NEWTs this time and did a fairly adequate job. Enough to get him into the Pros, at least. And he found an agent without too much trouble. The same bloke that represented Marcus Flint, to which Adrian felt he owed a fair amount of gratitude. Adrian of course wanted to join the World Quidditch League, but professional Quidditch in Europe was a fine place to start. If he ended up on opposite teams with Marcus, though, the gratitude would be saved for off the pitch, unlike Malfoy in years past. Bloody Malfoy.

This is where Adrian's life started to take a turn for downhill. Or further downhill, as it were. During Tryouts for the Falmouth Falcons, Adrian was busy shouting out directions and 'suggestions' to his fellow players when he dove directly into the Seeker, because he wasn't looking where he was going. The Seeker escaped unscathed, but Adrian suffered breaks and near paralysation along the entire right side of his body. He also flew out of control into a nest of seats, which ripped him open a bit. While this was healed, it cost him his shot at making the team and he has never forgiven the Seeker for slamming into him and making him look bad. (This Seeker could be an existing or prospective player)

His attitude and accusations have managed to earn him the right to not try out again, no other teams have been interested in him, and his agent won't return his calls anymore. He managed to walk away with a sizeable scar along his abdomen, which he'll show anyone that'll listen to his stories about his glory days. If a team will take him on, he'll help them win the Cup. They just need to wake up and get on with it, since they'll invite him to tryout again any day. Certainly there's some team out there with the sense to grab a talented player like himself.

In the meantime, he'll cheer on his teams and support them when they're playing. It's team spirit, right, and good for his image! Just don't root for the other team when he's around. He's gotten into a few fights when people have disagreed with his teams' skills and generally he'll punch them right in the kisser to prove a point. He's been arrested a few times for disturbing the peace, but nothing severe enough to land in Azkaban. Though if he ever ends up there, it'd just be for the chance to return a few favors to Draco Malfoy.

Adrian's still looking for a chance to get into Pro Quidditch, though it's unlikely anyone will ever want him as a player until he learns to look past himself and be a team player (aka probably never). Failing that, he thinks he'd be a smashing good coach and is keeping an eye out for a position doing that as well.

His place of residence is up in the air at the moment, but he'll be looking for a place to crash or someone to live with fairly soon. Keep your head down, ladies and gents!

War involvements: Adrian shied away from the War as much as he could. It wouldn't further his goals to make it into Pro Quidditch, so it wasn't really worth his time. Most of the blokes he knew from school went over to You Know Who, except for a few. Adrian didn't really give a whit either way, as long as he could still play when it was all said and done with. He also didn't join any of the Ministry's programmes either, since they (to him) were just more studying with no Pitch to play on between classes.

Still, it can't be said he didn't do his part. The Pucey's themselves joined the Ministry's side of the War, with his brother Acanthus working as a Cursebreaker. After the war, Acanthus went to work at Gringott's doing the same type of work. Adrian, however, didn't have any such skills to put to use, but he loved to brawl when the opportunity presented itself. There were plenty of opportunities to punch people and in large fights between You Know Who's followers and Ministry Workers, he had lots of targets to vent his frustration against. The best thing about being somewhat neutral was that you didn't really have to limit yourself.

Which got him into a little bit of trouble for punching an Auror here and there, but he was able to save a bit of face by indicating he wasn't sure who was on what side, what with You Know Who's tactics and all that rot. If someone comes at you with a wand, you don't take the time to ask for their identification. Still, it was probably once again Miles who kept him from getting into too much trouble. Thank Merlin for, ah, Orders of Merlin for your mates.

Height: Adrian is about 6'4" or so, and he's still quite muscular (but not bulkily so). Letting himself get into lots of fights during Quidditch season tends to keep him pretty lean and in good shape.

Distinguishing marks/features? There is a scar that runs about 16 inches along the right side of Adrian's abdomen, due to a really bad accident during a Quidditch Tryout.
